An experienced psychotherapist offering psychotherapy and EFT couples therapy in Copenhagen
I am a certified psychotherapist (M.A.), the highest professional level recognised in both Denmark and England, and I work from my private practice in central Copenhagen as well as online.
For more than twenty years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families across multiple countries and cultural contexts. My work integrates depth-oriented psychotherapy with a calm, grounded Danish presence.
Alongside my clinical practice, I have continued advanced training in couples therapy, supervision, and relational work. I am recently completed Master Class Further Training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT therapy) for couples.
The importance of supervision
Good therapy begins with good supervision
I regularly meet with experienced senior psychotherapists in Denmark and abroad to reflect on my work, challenge my thinking, and continue developing my skills. This ongoing process supports the quality of my individual, couples, and family therapy, helping me offer thoughtful, ethical, and effective care.
My focus is simple: excellence, integrity, and impact.

This is when a free discovery call will help you
You are considering therapy, but you need a real conversation before deciding.
A discovery call is useful when you know something needs attention but you are unsure which service fits or whether my way of working will suit you.
I will listen, ask focused questions and give you a direct professional view. The call is not therapy, but it should leave you with a clear next step.
When you are unsure which service to choose
The number of options can make a difficult situation harder to navigate.
Tell me what is happening and I will recommend the most appropriate starting point.
When you need to know whether I understand the problem
A website cannot show you how I understand your particular situation.
I will reflect what I hear and explain how I would approach it.
When previous therapy has not helped enough
You may be cautious after therapy that felt vague or repetitive.
Tell me what was missing and I will explain whether my work offers something different.
When one of you is uncertain about couples therapy
One partner may want help while the other fears blame or pressure.
I can explain the format and whether shared or individual work should come first.
When the situation feels urgent
Strong emotion can make it difficult to identify the right appointment.
I will help you choose appropriate support while being clear that a discovery call does not replace emergency care.
When practical questions are stopping you
Questions about fees, format or confidentiality may be blocking a decision.
Bring them directly and I will answer them clearly.
If the crisis is active now, request a call or book a session so that we can establish what kind of immediate support you need.

What a free discovery call with me will help you decide
The purpose is not to persuade you into therapy. It is to help you make a sound decision.
We focus on the decision in front of you: whether to begin, which service to choose and what you can reasonably expect.
You may decide to book, take time to think, speak with your partner or choose another form of support.
Decide whether I am the right therapist for you
The call gives you a direct experience of my pace, questions and clarity.
Notice whether you feel understood. I will also tell you honestly if the fit is wrong.
Choose between individual and couples work
Some difficulties belong primarily to you while others are maintained between two people.
I will help you identify whether individual, couples or couples-alone work should come first.
Choose the right pace and format
You may need one appointment, weekly work or a planned series.
I will recommend a starting pace and whether online or in-person work is suitable.
Understand how I would approach the difficulty
You have every right to ask how conversation is expected to create change.
I will explain my initial understanding and how I would begin.
Know what therapy will require from you
Useful therapy requires honesty, reflection and action outside the room.
I will tell you what I would ask of you or both partners.
Leave with one clear next step
The call should narrow the decision and make the next action straightforward.
You may book a session, speak with your partner or review therapy discounts and bundles.

What happens during your free discovery call with me
We use the thirty minutes carefully so the conversation becomes genuinely useful.
I begin by asking what brought you to the call and what you most need help deciding.
I then ask focused questions, explain my view and leave time for your questions before we agree on the next step.
You tell me what is happening now
Begin with the difficulty that made you look for help.
You do not need to make the story neat before we speak.
I ask what you want to be different
I need to understand what would make therapy worthwhile for you.
This helps me assess whether your goal and my approach fit.
I give you my initial professional view
I will tell you what I think may be happening based on the available information.
I distinguish clearly between an initial impression and a fuller therapeutic understanding.
I explain the service I recommend
If I can help, I will recommend the most appropriate service and explain why.
I will also tell you if the work should begin elsewhere.
You ask the questions that matter
Ask about my experience, approach, confidentiality, format or fees.
I will answer directly within the time available.
We finish with a clear next step
You do not have to book during the call.
If you continue, you can book the recommended session. The call remains free whether or not you proceed.
