Who I am
I am qualified to work with young adults from the age of 12 (supervised) and from 16 unsupervised with parental consent. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and expats for more than twenty years.
My passion – every single day – is to help you move through a crisis, understand your emotional patterns, and rebuild trust in yourself or with your partner.

Simply, one step closer to yourself
My style is steady, clear, and grounded. I meet you with honesty and depth, and I stay fully present with you when the work becomes difficult.
I don’t offer short-term fixes.
I tend to say no to clients who believe that superficial engagement and short-term effort will provide profound changes in life, relationships and inner peace.
How I work
My approach is integrative, humanistic, Jungian and transpersonal. I use emotion focused couples therapy, attachment science, Jungian and archetypal psychology, psychosynthesis, process oriented psychology, and trauma informed methods. I help you slow down emotional intensity and see the patterns that keep repeating. Then we build safer ways of reaching for connection.
I have lived in nine countries. I speak English and Danish fluently and at an equal level. I understand the pressures of cross cultural life and relationships that move across cultures and identities. This helps me support you with clarity whether you come alone or as a couple.
Clinical experience in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy
Over the past two decades, I have worked with hundreds of clients in individual psychotherapy, couples therapy, and family work. This includes long-term therapeutic processes as well as acute and crisis-based support.
I have sat with people navigating anxiety, relationship breakdown, identity transitions, trauma, and complex family systems. This sustained clinical work has given me a clear understanding of what supports change, what blocks it, and what helps people move forward again.
If you are have questions, you are welcome to get in touch. We can clarify what’s the right therapy for you.

The personal work behind my clinical work
My own inner work
I believe a therapist can only take you as far as they have gone themselves. My own work is a central part of how I hold the therapeutic space.
I have been in personal therapy since 1990 and then again from 2003. I have been a client within Jungian analysis, Gestalt therapy, psychosynthesis, transpersonal psychotherapy, CBT, and NLP. This helps me stay aware of my own patterns and meet you with clarity and emotional steadiness.
My own experience in couples therapy
Between 2010 and 2025 I also took part in couples therapy with several partners. This experience taught me what it feels like to sit in the client’s chair and take emotional risks. It helps me understand what strengthens connection and what creates shutdown. It informs how I guide couples through conflict, repair, and reconnection.
Personal interests and background
I live an active and international life.
I have run three half marathons. I am a fully qualified PADI diving instructor with further training in Nitrox diving, deep diving, wreck diving, and cave diving.
I have worked as a diving instructor in Egypt, Thailand, Guatemala, and Mexico.
These years taught me calm decision making under pressure and clear guidance in intense environments.
I have practiced both Hatha yoga and hot yoga for many years. Movement, meditation and breath work are part of my daily way of staying grounded.
I have taken weekly Saunagus for the last two years.
In 2025 I completed the qualification as a Saunagus Master.
I now lead Saunagus sessions and events.
This work supports my understanding of group energy, somatic presence, and nervous system regulation.
Where and how we work together
Sessions are available in Copenhagen, in Svendborg, and online.
I offer flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, intensive formats, and acute support when needed.
I work with individuals, couples, families, expats, and international clients, adapting the format to suit different circumstances and contexts.
My aim is to support you in understanding yourself more clearly and working with the patterns that influence your life or your relationships, at a pace that feels appropriate for you.
If you are have questions, you are welcome to get in touch. We can clarify what’s the right therapy for you.
A space to get to know each other
Behind every therapeutic process is a real human relationship.
When you know who you are working with, it becomes easier to feel safe, to be honest, and to trust the direction we take together.
This is where my story — and our work — begins.
Not with techniques or promises, but with presence, integrity, and a shared commitment to understanding what truly matters for you.
