An experienced psychotherapist offering psychotherapy and EFT couples therapy in Copenhagen

I am a certified psychotherapist (M.A.), the highest professional level recognised in both Denmark and England, and I work from my private practice in central Copenhagen as well as online.

For more than twenty years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families across multiple countries and cultural contexts. My work integrates depth-oriented psychotherapy with a calm, grounded Danish presence.

Alongside my clinical practice, I have continued advanced training in couples therapy, supervision, and relational work. I am recently completed Master Class Further Training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT therapy) for couples.

The importance of supervision

Good therapy begins with good supervision

I regularly meet with experienced senior psychotherapists in Denmark and abroad to reflect on my work, challenge my thinking, and continue developing my skills. This ongoing process supports the quality of my individual, couples, and family therapy, helping me offer thoughtful, ethical, and effective care.

My focus is simple: excellence, integrity, and impact.

This is when you need a neurodiverse couples intensive for one partner with me

You need more continuity than weekly therapy can provide, and your schedule or circumstances require concentrated work.

You need this service when conflict, uncertainty, sensory strain or repeated misunderstanding is affecting your ability to function. There is no perfect reason or moment to begin. If the relationship feels wrong and your usual ways of coping no longer work, that is enough reason to act.

In more than 21 years of practice, I have learned that clarity comes from understanding your actual experience, not forcing it into a standard relationship script. I will help you identify what is happening, what is overloading you and what must change first.

Is the relationship crisis overwhelming your everyday functioning?

You may be losing sleep, struggling to work or becoming unable to recover between conversations. A demand that appears small to somebody else can become the final demand your system can manage.

I help you establish what requires action now and what can wait. If the crisis is governing your day, book an acute neurodiverse session with me.

Are repeated conversations creating more misunderstanding?

You may answer the words literally while your partner expects you to recognise an unstated emotional meaning. Attempts to clarify can then be heard as argument, avoidance or lack of care.

I help you identify what each person is communicating and where assumptions are replacing clear language. You will leave with a more workable structure for the next conversation.

Does uncertainty make you seek answers that never feel sufficient?

Unclear plans, changes in tone or delayed replies can create intense uncertainty. You may ask the same question repeatedly because the answer does not resolve the part of the situation that remains unpredictable.

I help you identify the precise information or reassurance you need and communicate it directly. Your need for clarity is legitimate, but urgency must not force you to abandon your boundaries.

Do you shut down when emotional and sensory demands accumulate?

You may lose words, become highly factual or need complete distance when conversation, noise and emotional intensity exceed your capacity. Withdrawal may be an attempt to prevent further overload rather than a lack of care.

I help you recognise the earlier signs, communicate the need for a pause and agree how contact will resume. You do not have to remain in an overwhelming conversation to prove that the relationship matters.

Are you masking your needs until you suddenly cannot continue?

You may accommodate, perform competence or suppress discomfort until resentment, exhaustion or shutdown arrives abruptly. Your partner may experience the change as unexpected because the earlier effort remained invisible.

I help you recognise needs before they become emergencies and communicate them without apology. The goal is a relationship in which you do not have to disappear in order to stay connected.

Are you unable to decide whether the relationship can fit your needs?

You may be questioning whether the relationship is genuinely incompatible or whether clearer communication and realistic accommodation could make it workable.

I help you identify what has been tried, what your limits are and which changes would provide meaningful evidence. You can then decide from reality rather than exhaustion or pressure to appear easy.

If the crisis is active now, request a call or book a session so that we can establish what kind of immediate support you need.

What a neurodiverse couples intensive for one partner with me will help you do

Closely scheduled sessions let us stay with the work long enough to understand the pattern, make changes and review what happens next.

I help you understand how communication, sensory load, executive strain and the effort to mask affect the relationship. We turn that understanding into clearer boundaries, agreements and choices.

My role is active and structured. I will not ask you to tolerate chronic overwhelm or use neurodivergence to excuse harmful behaviour. I help you identify what can be accommodated and what must genuinely change.

How will I help you understand the real relationship crisis?

The crisis may concern betrayal, trust or incompatibility, while sensory load, literal communication or accumulated demands intensify every reaction.

I separate the central relationship problem from the conditions surrounding it. I will give you my professional view while remaining clear about what cannot be known without your partner present.

Can you recognise overload before you reach shutdown?

Yes. You can learn to notice changes in concentration, speech, body tension and tolerance before the point at which every additional demand becomes impossible.

I help you build a personalised pause plan and communicate it before disappearing from contact. Regulation is not pretending to be calm. It is protecting your capacity to respond deliberately.

Can you communicate without relying on hidden meanings?

Yes. We make requests, limits and expectations explicit instead of treating indirect cues as a test of love or empathy.

I help you identify what you mean, what your partner needs to know and which details are relevant. Direct communication can remain warm, relational and emotionally honest.

Can you ask for accommodation without surrendering your needs?

Accommodation should reduce unnecessary barriers, not require one person to organise the entire relationship around the other. Both partners remain responsible for impact and change.

I help you distinguish a reasonable adjustment from avoidance and express what you need clearly. A workable agreement must protect both dignity and capacity.

How will you decide what is changeable and what is not?

We identify which difficulties improve through clarity, structure or sensory adjustment and which reflect values, behaviour or incompatibility.

I will challenge wishful thinking and hopelessness alike. The decision remains yours, but it will be based on observed change rather than labels or promises.

Can individual changes alter the relationship pattern?

Your changes can alter the pattern when you stop masking, communicate overload earlier and set limits before resentment takes over.

I will not promise that individual work can make your partner understand or change. It can help you become clearer, more consistent and better able to judge what the relationship genuinely offers.

How your neurodiverse couples intensive for one partner with me is planned

Back-to-back does not mean relentless therapy. I plan the timing, breaks and intensity around what you can use productively.

We begin by deciding what the intensive must address and how much concentrated time is appropriate. I will not prescribe a standard package before understanding the problem, your schedule and your emotional capacity.

The plan may include several sessions on one day, consecutive days, appointments distributed across one week or a weekend intensive. Online, in-person and combined formats can be considered.

Several sessions can be held on the same day

Same-day sessions preserve momentum when travel, work or urgency makes weekly appointments impractical.

I build in deliberate breaks so you can eat, walk, rest and absorb what has emerged before continuing.

We can work on consecutive days

Consecutive-day sessions allow overnight reflection without losing the thread of the work.

I review your response each day and adjust the next session rather than following a rigid programme.

Sessions can be concentrated within one week

Several appointments across one week offer continuity while leaving time for practice and ordinary responsibilities.

This format works well when you need momentum without multiple sessions in a single day.

Weekend therapy intensives fit demanding schedules

A weekend intensive protects the work from professional commitments, school runs and competing weekday calendars.

Weekend availability is planned individually, including session blocks, breaks and any preparation beforehand.

The pace must remain emotionally usable

More hours are not automatically better. Concentrated work must respect concentration, regulation and emotional capacity.

I monitor the quality of the work and slow down, pause or change the schedule when that is clinically responsible.

Integration and follow-up are part of the plan

An intensive should connect to what happens after the final concentrated session.

We decide whether you need follow-up, structured individual psychotherapy, long-term couples therapy or no further appointments.

Frequently asked questions

What is a neurodiverse couples intensive for one partner?

It is a concentrated series of closely scheduled sessions rather than conventional weekly therapy.

The schedule is designed around the work, your capacity and practical availability.

Can I book multiple sessions on the same day?

Yes. We can schedule more than one session in a day when that format is appropriate.

Restorative breaks are planned, so back-to-back does not mean continuous therapy without recovery.

Can sessions take place on consecutive days?

Yes. Consecutive days preserve momentum while allowing overnight reflection.

I review how you are responding and adjust the following day accordingly.

Can we arrange the intensive within one week?

Yes. Several sessions can be distributed across a single week.

This offers continuity without requiring a full day or weekend.

Do you offer weekend therapy intensives?

Yes, subject to individual planning and availability.

Weekend intensives suit busy professionals, parents, travelling clients and couples coordinating two schedules.

Can the intensive be online or in person?

Yes. It may be online, in person or use a combination of both.

I recommend the format that best supports privacy, concentration and the work itself.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no responsible standard answer before I understand your situation and goal.

I recommend a schedule, explain why and review it as the intensive progresses.

Will back-to-back sessions be emotionally overwhelming?

They should not be. Concentrated work must respect your limits and ability to integrate.

I plan breaks, monitor your response and change the pace when more therapy would no longer be useful.

What does a therapy intensive cost?

Fees depend on the number and type of sessions. Contact me to discuss the schedule.

Payment is by invoice and bank transfer. Therapy discounts and bundles may provide significant savings.

How do I arrange a therapy intensive with you?

Book a free discovery call or contact me directly.

Tell me the service, timing and format you are considering. I will recommend same-day, consecutive-day, within-a-week or weekend sessions.
